Our inpatient facility is located in Coburg, Oregon. At the full-service facility, we provide mental health evaluations, specialized treatment for co-occurring disorders, clinical assessments, and medically supported detox.

Along with the inpatient facility, we have a network of outpatient facilities throughout Oregon. We have locations in Portland, Bend, Salem, Roseburg, Eugene, and Albany that provide Oregonians with the highest level of care. Every program in the Serenity Lane family is tailored to each individual and provides them with the tools necessary to live a life free of addiction and substance use.

We Provide the Tools You Need

At our inpatient treatment facility in Coburg, Oregon, we offer a wide range of both inpatient and outpatient programming.

Residential Treatment: The initial goal of this program is to provide patient stabilization and crisis intervention along with 24-hour medically supervised detox and treatment. Both individual and group counseling sessions help the client learn coping skills and tackle the complex issues that come along with substance use disorder. This program lasts 28 days and uses individual counseling, intensive group therapy, and education about addiction and its causes.

At all of our locations across Oregon, we offer a wide variety of addiction treatment programs that include multiple levels of outpatient care. We’ve outlined our three levels of outpatient treatment below:

Day Treatment (partial hospitalization): Our Day Treatment Program, also known as partial hospitalization, is the most intensive level of care after our inpatient Residential Treatment Program. Day Treatment is a great option for people looking for a comprehensive treatment program that allows them to balance the demands of their professional and personal life.

Level II Outpatient Program: Level II Outpatient, also known as an intensive outpatient program or IOP, is 10 weeks of comprehensive and intensive treatment that includes group therapy, individual counseling, and education about addiction issues.

Level I Outpatient Program: Our Level I Outpatient Program is the next step after IOP. Following outpatient treatment, recovery support is provided on a weekly basis for 44 weeks or longer. Clients meet for a 90-minute weekly session to learn to identify and manage stressful life events and incorporate relapse prevention techniques they’ve learned throughout their recovery journey.

We realize that attending treatment on-campus is not always an option. Because of this, we’ve developed our very own telehealth program. Serenity Lane’s RecoveryNOW virtual addiction treatment services provide the same exceptional intensive outpatient and Level I outpatient programming via the Zoom teleconferencing platform. This will include meetings with counselors and group sessions.

Serenity Lane was created in 1973 as a private, non-profit treatment center for addiction and substance use disorders by Dr. Thomas A. Kerns. For nearly 50 years, Serenity Lane has been licensed as a specialty hospital in treating addiction, and all of the programs at the facilities are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). It is the only treatment center in Oregon that is fully licensed to provide medical withdrawal support.
